Life update: I have finished Storm of Swords. I was asked to teach at TWO awesome events coming up this spring. My BFF JoAnn is in cosmetology school and one of her assignments is to give me weekly facials.

Not bad. In fact, I’d call it great.

Fire Casting: The Week in Podcasts (March 21st-27th) → blog.firecasting.com

firecasting:

  • Sorbocast 2 - Independent Podcasters Network — This week is a Sorbocast episode, the podcast dedicated to Kevin Sorbo. Sorbo is the star of the movies Hercules and Andromeda. Unfamiliar with Sorbo? You will literally know everything you need to know about Kevin Sorbo after listening to this…

I’m touched. TOUCHED. It’s not enough that Jake (aka Zicklepop) invited me to be part of his bodacious Firecasting, he also gives enough shits to listen to this weeks stupid episode, which is like 75% unlistenable talk about cat butts.

A few billion reasons why "John Carter" wasn't doomed by its meaningless title alone

jayfrosting:

  1. Hancock
    $624,386,746
  2. Shrek
    $484,409,218
  3. Mr. & Mrs. Smith
    $478,207,520
  4. Hitch
    $368,100,420
  5. Jerry Maguire
    $273,552,592

When they were new, none of the above titles told you anything about what was in the movie. That was handled by the ads.

It’s hard to grasp, Disney, but sometimes the American public needs more info than just a shot of some weird CGI bearnoceros before they burn their hard-earned dollars.

Power couple: two people engaged in a romantic relationship whose stars shine with an equal brightness. Today I was thinking about Presidential power couples and IMO the best of the 20thC were, chronologically:

-Franklin D. and Eleanor Roosevelt
-John F. and Jacqueline Kennedy
-Ronald and Nancy Reagan
-Bill and Hillary Clinton

Who else?

A Nerd of Advice Episode 11: Entertaining → sheriffpony.com

anerdofadvice:

Episode 11 is up and it’s all about entertaining! Discussion points: clean your fucking bathroom, bring a bottle of something, and put your phone down. Ten Taco Bell tacos.

Please note the audio in this one is a bit echo-y. I think we’ve since fixed the problem. No need to write to us! Pre-amps are tricky creatures, is all. We’re learning.

I have just enough gin in me to say: I am beyond fortunate to have such talented, inspiring, and loving people in both my real and internet lives.

FEELINGS: I’ve get ‘em.

There is one place where it’s totally OK to talk about all the boring stuff you did and ate today. It is called your diary.
